The famous yacht shipyard Bavaria Yachts showed at the boat show in Düsseldorf in January 2020 the new Bavaria C42, which continues the development of the modern range of C-Line family cruise sailing boats.
The hull and deck of the Bavaria C42 sailing yacht are sandwiched with isophthalic acid resin (IPA) with foam inserts. The deck in the places of fastening of the yacht equipment has special reinforcing elements made of aluminum. The deck is mounted on the hull by bolting and gluing. Such solutions provide traditionally high strength and reliability.
Two control posts are located in the aft part and are equipped with all necessary navigation equipment and yacht controls.
Thus, almost the entire open space of the cockpit can be used for recreation, entertainment, dinner in the fresh air. To do this, in the cockpit there are comfortable L-shaped sofas with a folding table between them. In the aft part of the cockpit, near the helmsman, there are two more L-shaped sofas with high backs.
If necessary, the cockpit can be closed with a folding awning.
The stern of the yacht can be transformed into a spacious bathing platform.
On the roof of the cabin, in front of the mast, a spacious solarium can be located.
The interior of the yacht has large side and deck portholes that provide full natural light.
The layout of the sailing yacht Bavaria C42 can be arranged in several versions: two or three double cabins. Each cabin will have a separate bathroom and lockers for storing things.
The L-shaped galley is located immediately at the entrance to the salon and is equipped with all necessary equipment.
On the starboard and port side in the cabin are sofas. A convertible dining table is located near the U-shaped sofa on the starboard side. When it is lowered to the level of the sofa seats, an additional spacious sleeping area is obtained. If this table is laid out completely, in the direction of the sofa on the port side, you get a large dining area for 6 people.
